I always smile when I see The Lobster Pot Tree in Lopes Square at the center of Provincetown. It signals the beginning of holiday cheer, snow, and the long winter ahead with friends by the fire. This is the ninth year local artist Julian Popko has overseen the installation of the tree, which, according to The Provncetown Banner is made of 112 lobster pots/traps (many loaned from local boats), 58 buoys, 46 plastics lobsters and 3,400 lights.
